Understand Parking Lot Management System

1. Concept of parking lot management system

Parking lot management system: also known as vehicle access management system, hereinafter referred to as vehicle management system. It is a comprehensive management system that combines computer technology, automatic control technology, smart card technology and traditional mechanical technology to manage, monitor, drive instructions, parking billing and other vehicles passing in and out of the parking garage.

2. Classification

The intelligent parking lot management system sets up an automatic toll station, which can complete its toll management without operators. According to the different environment, it can be divided into two categories: internal intelligent parking lot management system and public intelligent parking lot management system.

3. Apply

(1) The internal intelligent parking lot management system is mainly for the fixed owners and long-term rental units, companies and individuals of the parking lot. Generally, it is mostly used for unit self-use parking lot, supporting parking lot of apartment and residential community, underground parking lot of office building, long-term parking space rental parking lot, etc. This kind of parking lot is characterized by fixed users and no external vehicles; (2) The public intelligent parking lot management system is generally located in large public places, and the users are usually one-time users. It not only temporarily parks individual passengers, but also serves the fixed long-term vehicles of internal users. The parking lot is characterized by separate management of fixed long-term vehicles and temporary vehicles, sharing entrances and exits and separate management.

2 Composition of parking lot management system

Parking lot management system is usually composed of entrance management system, exit management system and management center.

1. Entrance management system

It is composed of entrance controller (card reader, card issuer, controller, vehicle detector and intercom system), vehicle detection coil, electric car stopper (including automatic railing and road gate), license plate and image recognizer, parking space simulation display board (full parking space indicator), etc. (1) When a temporary user's vehicle enters the parking lot, he / she receives a temporary card from the ticket issuing machine, and the sensor automatically detects the vehicle entry and judges the legitimacy of the card. If it is legal, the road gate is opened, the vehicle drives into the parking lot, the camera captures the photo of the vehicle and stores it in the computer. The controller records the entry time of the vehicle and transmits it to the computer when it is online; (2) When the vehicle with monthly / permanent card enters the parking lot, when the vehicle with active induction card enters the induction area (2.5m), the sensor will transmit the read information to the controller to judge its effectiveness. If it is effective, the vehicle will be released by the automatic road gate and record that the vehicle has entered the parking lot. At the same time, start the camera at the entrance, record the image of the vehicle, and store it in the computer hard disk of the sentry box according to the corresponding card number. After the vehicle passes through the vehicle detection coil, the brake lever will be automatically lowered. If it is invalid, an alarm will be given and admission will not be allowed.

2. Export management system

It is composed of export control machine (card reader, controller, vehicle detector and system), vehicle detection coil, electric car stopper (including automatic railing and road gate), license plate and image recognizer, automatic pricing cash register and other equipment. (1) When a temporary vehicle drives out of the parking lot, it will not be able to drive out of the parking lot directly. At the exit, the driver must give the non-contact IC card to the administrator, and the computer automatically calls out the entrance image for manual comparison according to the IC card record information. After the image comparison is confirmed to be correct, the driver shall pay a certain fee according to the regulations. The security guard presses the OK key, the electric railing rises, and starts the camera at the exit to record the image of the vehicle. After the vehicle passes the vehicle detection coil buried under the lane, the electric railing will fall automatically, and the computer will record the vehicle information in the database. (2) When a fixed monthly rental card vehicle leaves the parking lot, if a proximity sensor card is used, the driver shall stick the sensor card close to the sensor. After reading the card, the sensor will transmit the read information to the controller to judge its effectiveness. At the same time, start the exit camera to record an image of the vehicle, and store it in the computer hard disk of the charge management office according to the corresponding card number. If it is effective, the vehicle shall be released from the barrier by the automatic road brake, and it shall be recorded that the vehicle has left the site. After the vehicle passes the vehicle detection coil, the railing shall be lowered automatically; If it is invalid, it will give an alarm and will not be allowed to leave the site.

3. Management Center

It consists of management workstation, access control management software, berth dispatching controller, billing management and display equipment.

The parking lot management system adopts computer automatic management to monitor the situation of the garage. When necessary, the management personnel monitor and manage the situation of the whole parking lot through the main control computer. It can monitor the access of each vehicle in real time and automatically record, including the access time, parking space number, parking fee and other information of internal vehicles. At the same time, it can issue internal cards, uniformly set the parameters of system equipment, such as controller and cash register, count and query historical data, and print various reports. It can authorize different internal vehicles in groups and register the valid period.

3 Main equipment of parking lot management system

1. Automatic barrier gate

The gate rod of the automatic gate has double self-locking effect and can resist manual lifting. The scientific design enables the product to work frequently for a long time in a harsh environment. In addition, it has advanced effects such as heating protection, time protection, anti smashing protection, automatic photoelectric coupling and so on. There are lift and fall type railings (hydraulic transmission for high-grade), open and close type doors (translation doors), lift type car stops (arm type and trough type), etc. The anti smashing function of the brake rod refers to that when the car passes through the railing, the railing can not fall down, and the railing can also be kept open. It is not necessary to act every time a car passes, so as to avoid traffic jam in the peak parking period.

2. Vehicle detector

The vehicle detector consists of a group of surrounding coils and current sensing digital circuit boards, which are used in conjunction with the gate or control machine. The coils are buried underground in front of and behind the gate rod. As long as there are vehicles passing on the road, the coils generate induced current signals, which are processed by the vehicle detector and sent to the control host or gate.

(1) The vehicle detector in front of the entrance ticket box is mainly matched with the entrance control host and automatic card issuing machine to realize the functions of "swiping card with car" and "issuing one card only for one car". When the vehicle entry signal is detected and the card retrieval button is pressed, the card issuing machine built in the ticket box will automatically issue cards.

(2) The vehicle detector under the barrier of the barrier is matched with the barrier control main board, which plays an anti smashing role when the vehicle passes by, and realizes the function of automatic gate dropping when the vehicle passes by.

It is the key equipment to communicate smart card and control system. When in use, the driver only needs to extend the card out of the window and shake it gently. After that, the reading and writing work will be completed, and the equipment will make the corresponding work of quasi person. When each cardholder drives in and out of the parking lot, the card reader will correctly charge according to the established charging standard and calculation method. When each vehicle enters the parking lot, the system will automatically close the entry permission of the card and give the card exit permission, so that it can only enter after the vehicle drives out, so as to prevent repeated entry with one card. This is called anti detour measure or anti re entry function.
