Hangzhou: according to the statistics of Hangzhou public security and Traffic Police Bureau, by the end of 2012, there were about 370800 small motor vehicle berths in the six main urban areas of Hangzhou (excluding self designated parking spaces in the community), including about 311900 residential and public built parking spaces, about 11000 off-road public parking spaces and about 47000 on-line parking spaces. In the same period, the number of motor vehicles was about 944800, including 702300 private cars. The ratio of parking space to car ownership was only 0.39, which was far lower than the internationally recognized reasonable standard of 1.2-1.5, and the parking space was seriously insufficient. At present, the number of motor vehicles in Hangzhou is still increasing at the rate of more than 10000 per month. As the main parking space, there are more than 400000 residential parking spaces in arrears. As of August 2013, the total number of motor vehicles in Hangzhou was 1.04 million, and the total number of parking spaces was 450000, with a gap of 600000. Shenzhen: as of June 2013, the number of Guangdong b-brand motor vehicles in Shenzhen had reached 2.38 million. With 300000 vehicles in Hong Kong and other places, about 2.6 million vehicles ran on the roads in Shenzhen every day, and the number of motor vehicles licensed every day was about 1500. According to the data provided by Shenzhen Transportation Commission, as of February 2013, there were about 800000 registered parking spaces in Shenzhen. There is a gap of 1.8 million parking spaces. Zhuhai: at the end of 2012, the number of civil motor vehicles in Zhuhai reached 310000, an increase of 10.7%. Among them, there were 248000 private cars, an increase of 12.7%. The number of civilian cars was 167000, an increase of 14.4%. Among them, 150000 private cars, an increase of 15.4%. According to the investigation report on the construction and management of parking lots in the main urban area of Zhuhai issued by Zhuhai municipal landscape and Forestry Bureau in June 2012, there are 67951 berths in Zhuhai, 4073 off road public parking berths, 4103 on road parking berths, and a total of 76127 parking berths in the city. The gap is about 230000.
