RFID radio frequency identification technology is a wireless, non-contact automatic identification technology. Its communication distance can range from a few centimeters to tens of meters, and it is almost unaffected by the weather environment. RFID electronic tag can input hundreds of bytes of digital information with high confidentiality. It is one of the five recognized cutting-edge technologies in contemporary information technology. By burning the truck license plate into the RFID electronic tag, when the truck enters various logistics nodes such as wharf, storage yard and warehouse, it can be read through the RFID antenna installed above the road, which is completely separated from manual intervention, so as to improve the speed and accuracy of vehicle traffic.

The electronic license plate writes the basic information of the vehicle in advance through the card issuing management system, such as vehicle ID, license plate number, vehicle weight, etc. The RFID electronic license plate is installed on all vehicles entering and leaving the dock gate. At this time, the vehicle has a unique ID card. The identification system shall be installed at all gates, roads and other places that need to identify electronic license plates. The recognition system operates around the clock. When the vehicle with electronic license plate enters the recognition area, the recognition antenna can capture the relevant information in the electronic license plate and send it to the background in real time to help the background for further processing. If a vehicle without an electronic license plate enters the system, the vehicle information will not be displayed and an illegal vehicle intrusion can be prompted. The system can cooperate with video monitoring to record the in and out operation of vehicles in real time.

In this system, RFID electronic tag is the main data carrier, which will follow the installation vehicle to different logistics places, and the use of a unified reading system will receive unified data content.
