Recently, the China Telecom Transmission Technology Seminar "Guangyun Zhilian, wing network world" jointly organized by China Telecom Research Institute and Huawei was successfully held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. At present, China Telecom has built six regional ROADM optical networks covering the whole country, which is the world's largest backbone network based on the concept of all-optical network 2.0, and gradually opened a management and control system based on Sdn. The seminar focused on the core technology and the latest application of optical transmission network under the cloud network integration strategy, exchanged the excellent experience of optical network construction and operation in various places, jointly discussed the development direction of optical transmission network, accelerated the intelligent evolution of China Telecom Optical Network towards cloud transformation and digital transformation, implemented the national new infrastructure strategy, and enabled the digital transformation of thousands of industries.
Wei Leping, a Chinese telecom scientist, first made a main speech on "moving towards an all cloud and all optical network" at the meeting. President Wei pointed out that "the network moves with the cloud" is the primary driving force of network cloudization, and the comprehensive cloudization of the network is an irreversible trend. In the agile and intelligent cloud service stage based on a new generation of logical centralized and physically decentralized distributed architecture, the role of network is becoming increasingly prominent. President Wei also pointed out that in the era of all-optical network 2.0, the realization of optical layer dynamic intelligent dispatching network based on ROADM / OXC is a key step in the evolution to the goal of "simplicity, agility, openness, intensification and security" of China Telecom Network Architecture reconstruction. An all cloud and all optical network is not only a strong foundation for cloud network integration, but also constitutes the core of the country's new infrastructure - the core of information infrastructure, which is expected to drive a wider range of all-round development.
Zhang Dejiang, chief expert in the optical field of Huawei, made a thematic report on "development trend of optical transmission industry and technology". He pointed out that 200g will become the mainstream rate in the world. With the wide deployment of the new all-optical switching OXC, the optical layer interconnection will evolve to a higher dimension and faster switching speed; In the field of quality dedicated lines, OTN will rapidly evolve to m-otn, supporting smaller particles, lower delay, multiple connections and elastic bandwidth.Dr. Li Junjie, chief optical transmission expert of China Telecom, made a thematic report on "all optical network 2.0 evolution for cloud to data conversion". He pointed out that all-optical network 2.0 will continue to evolve in the direction of flat network architecture, all-optical business scheduling and intelligent operation and maintenance. Under the new situation of "changing cloud to digital transformation", we should unswervingly expand bandwidth and do a good job in bandwidth, and build value operation capability with digitization as the core.

At the end of the seminar, experts from both sides held a round table discussion focusing on "how to evolve and develop optical transmission network in the future". Li Junjie, chief optical transmission expert of China Telecom, said that "the single wavelength 200g transmission technology has matured, and now the network rate has fully evolved to 200g, which brings advantages in improving the total bandwidth and optimizing the single bit cost."
