They're if this is the word for it realistic, and this realism colours the final action stretch. Best of all are the procedural bits, which are well-researched, well-portrayed."

Plot of helmet camera

Muralipandian (Vikram Prabhu) is the only son of Chellapandian (Sathyaraj), a disabled policeman who is now working in the State Crime Records Bureau and expresses a desire to see his son in the police one day.

However, Murali is against becoming a policeman due to an incident which happened in his childhood; when Chellapa lost his leg during police duty, his wife fell down the stairs on hearing the news, leading to her death and left a crippled Chellapa to single-handedly look after the young Murali. His ambition is to become a bank manager, and he manages to get an interview for the same in a bank. While on a pilgrimage, Murali meets Ambujam (Monal Gajjar), a young doctor who is travelling with her chaperone, who is her grandmother Aishwarya (Kovai Sarala).

Ambujam initially thinks ill of Murali due to unsavoury incidents which occur between them during the journey, but after she finds out about Murali's true character as he helps her Aishwarya recover from dehydration, she falls in love with him. She expresses a distaste for marrying policemen, which impresses Murali. Meanwhile, a spate of robberies occur in Chennai.

Money is stolen from several bank accounts through ATM machines. The robberies are led by a bank employee Shiva (Gaurav Narayanan) assisted by a karate teacher Lawrence (Charandeep). The duo manages to avoid being caught.

Murali first encounters the duo robbing an ATM while returning from the pilgrimage and breaks Lawrence's arm in a fight. An injured Lawrence vows to take revenge on Murali. Later, Murali receives a letter stating that he had been accepted at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy for police training.

He reluctantly attends the training for Chellapa's sake and deliberately performs poorly during the training in the hope of getting expelled from the academy. Unfortunately, the head of the academy, SP Nagaraj, who happens to be Ambujam's father and a former colleague of Chellapa, finds out about Murali's plan and makes a deal with him to avoid the matter reaching Chellapa's ears; however badly Murali had performed during training, he will not be expelled from the academy. Instead, he will be made a sub-inspector, with the assurance that he can resign if he does not like the job after 30 days, after which he can marry Ambujam.

Murali accepts, but this strains his relationship with Ambujam. Shiva and Lawrence plan to steal money from ATMs using information from international credit cards. The robbery is a success, but the CCTV cameras in two different ATMs have exposed Shiva as one of the robbers due to his height.

The duo is arrested by Murali, who is now a sub-inspector, but they manage to subdue the constables and escape later that night, while Murali is out on a date with Ambujam. They encounter Chellapa, beat him up, and shoot him in his chest. Ambujam feels sorry about what happened to Chellapa and accepts Murali's decision to become a policeman.

Buoyed by Ambujam's approval and also determined to take revenge on those who shot Chellapa, Murali takes up the robbery case. He assumes that the duo did not work alone, instead having an accomplice. This proves to be true; the accomplice turns out to be a forger who made fake credit cards for the duo to steal money from the ATMs, but this evidence reaches a dead end when the accomplice reveals that he never saw the duo without their bike helmets on.

Murali then interrogates the security guards of ATMs in the outskirts of Chennai as he feels that the robbers would have used them to conduct their robberies since money would not be refilled in such ATMs until it runs short of cash due to lesser number of withdrawals. One of the guards interrogated turns out to be an accomplice of the robbers, providing them gadgets to assist them in the robbery. He does not know where they are.

Murali decides to track the robber's phones with the intention of finding their location once someone calls them. In retribution, Shiva and Lawrence try to kill Chellapa, who is in the ICU, also kidnapping Ambujam in the process. Murali rushes to the hospital, where he sees Chellapa still alive, after which he pursues the robbers, finally encountering them on the banks of the Cooum River.

He kills Shiva and Lawrence and rescues Ambujam. The movie ends with Murali being honoured by the police department in the presence of Ambujam and Chellapa, for his role in thwarting the ATM robbery.

In March 2012 it was reported that Gaurav Narayanan who earlier directed Thoonga Nagaram was all set to start work on his next, Sigaram Thodu.

He stated "The film, which is based on the relationship between a father and son, will star three big heroes, one from Tollywood and two from Kollywood, and will most likely be made as a bilingual. Richard and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be handling the cinematography and music respectively". Vikram Prabhu was signed as the hero and Monal Gajjar was roped in to do the female lead.

Sathyaraj was roped in to play a pivotal role. Gaurav Narayanan changed the initial team and signed cinematographer Vijay Ulaganath and music composer by D Imman. Gaurav Narayanan worked on pre-production and met a fraudster jailed in Puzhal to get him to open up on the methodology he used for scamming credit and debit cards, which forms the backdrop of the film.

The process took nearly eight months to complete and then adapt into a screenplay. For his role, Vikram Prabhu trained and shot at the Vandalur Police Academy, where he was given guidance by officers. The shooting of Sigaram Thodu commenced on 6 May 2013 at Chandi Devi Temple in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

Director Gaurav said "It is India's first film to shoot the Gangotri temple opening ceremony amidst 20,000 people in 2 degree celsius". A location in the Himalayas used for the song "Pidichirukku" in the film is only opened two days a year, so the team shot for a few days in 2013, before returning a year later to complete portions.

Bayek was named "Best New Character" by Giant Bomb for its 2017 Game of the Year Awards, and received a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Character at the 21st Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. For his role as Bayek, Abubakar Salim was nominated for Best Performer at the 14th British Academy Games Awards. Salim was also selected as one of 20 newcomer actors across film, games and television by a BAFTA jury for 2019's Breakthrough Brits; his casting and performance as Bayek was recognized by BAFTA as a career highlight. The complexity and contradictions of his identity and personality - a friendly character with empathetic character traits as well as a seasoned and ruthless killer who has murdered thousands as part of his vendetta - has invited commentary from various sources. Xalavier Nelson Jr from Rock, Paper, Shotgun considered him to be one of the best fatherly archetypes in video games. Alice Bell from considered Bayek to be an even better Assassin's Creed protagonist compared to Ezio, whom Bell considers to be another favorite. Bayek's relationship with Aya has been praised by various sources. Kotaku staff considers the story of their marriage to be one of the narrative highlights of Origins. Patrick Klepek from Vice found the depiction of their relationship and their shared grief over the loss of their son to be powerful and believable, and that it does as much to make Origins memorable as the changes the game introduced to the franchise's combat system. In April 2018 Ubisoft published an opinion piece by Youssef Maguid, an employee who was born in Egypt and raised in the United States, about Bayek's importance as a figure of representation and inclusivity for him as an Egyptian American and a member of an ethnic minority. In response to Bayek's positive reception, then-chief creative officer of Ubisoft Serge Hascoet suggested that the character may appear in a future television or film adaptation alongside Aya. Matt Kim from US Gamer suggested that Hascoet played down the possibility of Ubisoft developing a direct sequel to Origins starring Bayek and/or Aya due to his company's prioritizing the exploration of new time periods and historical settings over pre-established characters. ------ Appearances of helmet camera Assassin's Creed: OriginsBayek first appears as a vengeful individual who assassinates a man known as Rudjek "The Heron". Bayek regroups with his best friend Hepzefa, and returns to his hometown of Siwa to kill Medunamun, a local priest known as "The Ibis", who has been torturing the locals for information to open the same vault. It is later revealed in a flashback sequence that he was abducted along with his son Khemu by a group of masked men and taken to an underground vault in the Temple of Amun. The masked men gave Bayek a dormant artifact and demanded that he use it to open a secret vault. Khemu helps Bayek escape, but while struggling with one of the masked men, Bayek accidentally kills Khemu. He then goes into self-imposed exile to plot his revenge against his abductors. Bayek travels to Alexandria, where he reunites with his wife Aya. Aya reveals that she has already killed Actaeon "The Vulture" and Ktesos "The Ram", leaving only one target left, "The Snake". Bayek identifies the Royal Scribe Eudoros as The Snake, but Bayek is disturbed by Eudoros' last words, which imply that there are more masked men. Aya directs Bayek to her friend Apollodorus the Sicilian for more information. Apollodorus introduces him to Cleopatra, who confirms that the masked men are members of the Order of Ancients. Cleopatra claims that the Order attempts to remove her from power and seeks to control all of Egypt by using her brother Ptolemy XIII Theos Philopator as their puppet. Cleopatra gives Bayek four new targets: "The Scarab", "The Hyena", "The Lizard" and "The Crocodile". He tracks them down and kills them while Aya convinces Pompey the Great to ally with Cleopatra. Bayek receives a letter from Aya explaining that there are more members of the Order at large, including members of Ptolemy's royal guard who are the likely culprits responsible for Khemu's death. Bayek begins to question his mission, believing Cleopatra is using him to kill her rivals. Pompey is brutally murdered by Lucius Septimius, "The Jackal", forcing Bayek and Aya to sneak Cleopatra into the palace to meet Julius Caesar, where she impresses Caesar and secures his support in her civil war against Ptolemy XIII. During a battle between the two rival pharaohs and their forces, Bayek kills Pothinus, "The Scorpion", but is stopped from killing Septimius by Caesar, while Ptolemy gets eaten by crocodiles when he tries to flee across the Nile. Cleopatra secures the throne as undisputed ruler in the aftermath of the civil war and cuts ties with Bayek and Aya, which led them to realize that Cleopatra and Caesar are now allied with the Order. Bayek gathers his allies and supporters to form a brotherhood of covert agents to counter the Order and defend the free will of the Egyptian people through deception, espionage, and sabotage. Bayek and Aya later discovers the Order's interest in the tomb of Alexander the Great, where they find a mortally wounded Apollodorus, who warns them that Caesar's lieutenant Flavius is "The Lion" and the true leader of the Order, and that he had taken the Orb and a Staff from the tomb and is en route to Siwa. After murdering Hepzefa in an attempt to open the secret vault in Siwa, Flavius travels to Cyrene, where he activates the artifacts to hold the population in thrall. Bayek locates and kills Flavius, and then meets with Aya, who has recruited Marcus Junius Brutus and Gaius Cassius Longinus to their cause and intends to travel to Rome in order to assassinate Caesar and his advisor Septimius, the final survivor of the masked men. Bayek and Aya amicably end their relationship as husband and wife and part ways, but continue to work together as members of the Hidden Ones, an organization they originally founded in response to betrayal by Cleopatra and Caesar. Bayek devised the Assassin Brotherhood's Creed and its strict tenets on discretion and never harming an innocent life, and increased the scope of their mission agenda to protect the rest of the world from the shadows. Bayek is the protagonist of the story-driven expansion DLC's for Origins, The Hidden Ones and The Curse of the Pharaohs. As leader of the Hidden Ones, he would sometimes sign letters of correspondence under the alias of Amun. Other appearancesA teenaged Bayek is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: Desert Oath, which serves as a prequel story to Origins. In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Bayek may be recruited as a simulated lieutenant on the ship Adrestia; players can unlock this feature via Ubisoft Club. He is available as an unlockable character for Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, a mobile free-to-play strategy RPG action game. As part of an event crossover with Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise, Bayek's layered armor was available for a limited time and unlockable by players who completed seasonal challenge rewards for Monster Hunter: World.

You wind up with a Fermi problem for your calculation. That is, you take all your best guesses, and work them together; the more factors you have an educated guess about, the more likely your high guesses will balance out your low guesses, and you'll end up with something approximating the right answer.Even then, that's not going to get you a lot of data points here. Here's how it would go for me:Number of motorcyclists I know (100)Number of motorcyclists I know that ride with a camera (2)Based on that, I'd estimate 2% of motorcyclists ride with a camera. That's not great data to go on, though, partly because I'm only vaguely certain about the second number. But it passes the "sniff test" and seems reasonable. What else could you factor in to arrive at a number?Other factors you might consider:How many GoPros are sold per year? How many GoPros are sold to motorcyclists? How many motorcycle camera mounts are sold? What other products would a ride-recording motorcyclist be interested in? Can I get sales figures for those? How many camera-on-board motorcycle videos are there on YouTube? What percentage of ride videos make it from the camera to YouTube? What is the number of active motorcyclists in your country? What's the ratio of motorcyclists to the general population? What types of riders are likely to use a GoPro? Off-road? Cruisers? Stunters? Racers?Take all these factors together, and I think you might start approaching a reasonable answer. How many motorcyclists ride with a camera?
