The access control system looks too complex. How can we simplify it to make it easy to understand? We can understand the access control system as a simple mechanical lock, because they all belong to control technology, have certain similarities in principle, and have the same basic elements, mainly including feature carrier, feature reading (recognition) device and locking mechanism. By analyzing the basic elements of mechanical lock, we can understand the composition of access control system. 1 Feature carrier feature is a difference with uniqueness and stability, which can be used to distinguish identity, identify individuals, or represent power. Feature carrier is one of the elements of access control. The identity and authority of the access control management object can be given through the feature carrier. Such as RFID, magnetic card, bar code, etc; It can also be represented by the features of the object itself, such as facial image, fingerprint and other biological features. Mechanical lock is a complete access control system, in which the key is the feature carrier. At present, there are many characteristics used, such as magnetic card, photoelectric card, IC card, second-generation certificate and so on. The control system must first authenticate their feature carriers to determine their legitimacy. Here is a way to give them a sign of identity and authority. This is the feature carrier, and the information of identity and authority it contains is the feature. Take the mechanical lock for example, the key is a feature carrier, and its tooth shape is the feature. The characteristics from the holder are called biological characteristics, and the characteristic carrier is naturally the holder. 2 Identification device the identification device should be well understood. In short, it is a device used to read the exchange feature carrier. It mainly reads and judges the identity and authority information to determine the legitimacy of the holder's identity. Different carrier technical attributes correspond to different identification equipment attributes. Take the magnetic card for example, its identification device is a magnetoelectric conversion device, and the reading device of IC card is an electronic data communication device. The identification device of mechanical lock is the lock cylinder. When the key (feature carrier) is inserted into the lock cylinder, the identity and authority of the identification holder are determined by whether the tooth shape of the key is consistent with the lock cylinder. The electronic identification device will convert the characteristic information into electronic data, and identify and judge the identity and authority of the holder by comparing with the data in the memory. 3 The locking mechanism identification device determines the identity and authority of the visitor, and the locking mechanism then controls access. Take the mechanical lock for example. When the key matches the lock cylinder, you can turn the handle, retract the lock tongue and open the door; If it doesn't match, refuse the request to open the door. Of course, different access control systems have different forms of locking mechanisms and different access control technologies. Such as the pull-out rod of subway toll system, cash dispensing device of ATM and car stopper in parking lot are common locking mechanisms in our daily life.
