1.What is its maximum reading distance?

Theoretically, the maximum reading distance is 15 meters, but the actual distance will vary depending on the reader’s power, antenna, and the ambient environment (such as obstructions and interference).

 2.Are the distances for writing and reading data the same?

No. Writing data (programming) requires a closer distance, generally recommended to be within 1 meter, to ensure stability and success rate; reading data can be done over longer distances.

 3.How waterproof is this tag?

The tag’s substrate is made of PP synthetic paper, which has good waterproof performance and can adapt to humid environments, meeting the application needs of most outdoor or indoor humid scenarios.

 4.Can the tag be used on metal surfaces?

The antenna material of this tag is aluminum, and the substrate is non-metallic. It is not specifically designed for metal surfaces. Directly attaching it to a metal surface will result in a severe performance degradation or even make it unreadable. If you need to use it on a metal surface, please choose a specialized anti-metal tag.

 5.What is its lifespan?

The tag itself has a long physical lifespan, with a data retention time of at least 10 years. Actual lifespan depends on the specific working environment, temperature, humidity, and physical wear.

 6.Is the adhesive strong enough? On which surfaces can it be applied?

We use 3M strong adhesive, which has very strong adhesion. It is suitable for most clean, dry, and flat surfaces, such as paper, plastic, and wood. Please ensure the surface is free of oil and dust before application.

 7.What is the “anti-collision” function?

The anti-collision function refers to the ability of the reader to quickly and accurately read the information of each tag sequentially when multiple tags appear within its recognition range, without causing data corruption.
