Project Description
This project was implemented at Xiamen University Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur. The university required a smart vehicle management system to handle a large number of vehicles passing through its main campus gates every day.
To achieve this, our team deployed an Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) System designed to effectively manage both internal and external vehicles, ensuring smooth campus traffic flow and high-level security at all times.
Project Scale:
- 2 entry gatesand 2 exit gates equipped with ALPR devices

Project Requirements
The university sought a system that could:
- Automatically identify and recordvehicles entering and exiting the campus.
- Manage both internal and visitor vehiclesefficiently through automated recognition.
- Prevent unauthorized or blacklisted vehiclesfrom entering the premises.
- Enhance campus safetyby maintaining real-time vehicle access records.
- Provide stable and accurate performanceduring high-traffic periods.
Solutions We Provide for Customers
To meet these requirements, our engineering team delivered a customized ALPR parking management solution integrating advanced hardware and intelligent software:
- High-Accuracy ALPR Cameras:
Installed at each entry and exit gate, these cameras capture vehicle license plates in real time, ensuring quick and accurate identification of all vehicles entering or leaving the campus. - Vehicle Database Management:
The system maintains a centralized database of registered vehicles. Internal vehicles are recognized and granted automatic access, while external vehicles are logged for monitoring. - Blacklist Control Function:
The system automatically detects and blocks blacklisted or unauthorized vehicles, enhancing overall campus security. - Integrated Management Software:
The software provides real-time monitoring, data storage, and reporting functions, allowing campus administrators to efficiently manage all vehicle movements from a central platform. - Reliable and Scalable Design:
The system supports future expansion, enabling the university to add more access points or integrate with additional management systems when needed.
