Project Description:
This project was implemented in Cambodia to provide a high-efficiency, intelligent access control solution for motorcycles and various vehicles. The system adopts an advanced UHF + barrier boom configuration, designed to achieve seamless, automatic identification of motorcycles at both entry and exit points.
The key goal of this project was to enable a fast, contactless, and reliable vehicle identification process, improving traffic flow efficiency while reducing manual intervention and vehicle emissions.
Project Requirements:
The customer required a UHF + barrier boom system that could:
- Manage one entry and one exitchannel efficiently.
- Accurately identify motorcycles and other vehicles.
- Support remote and automatic RFID readingwithout requiring vehicles to stop.
- Be weather-resistantand suitable for outdoor installation in Southeast Asia’s tropical climate.

Solutions We Provide for Customers:
To meet the project’s requirements, TGW provided a complete UHF access management solution, including:
- Waterproof UHF Reader Module:Ensures stable performance even in rainy or humid environments.
- High-Sensitivity Long-Range UHF Antennas:Supports reading distances of up to 10 meters, enabling vehicles to pass smoothly without stopping.
- Barrier Boom Gate System:Integrated with the UHF reader for synchronized opening and closing, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Flexible Integration Options:The system can operate independently or integrate seamlessly with card, ticket, or license plate recognition (LPR) systems, offering scalability for future upgrades.
