Project Description

This project was implemented at KER Shopping Mall in Myanmar, one of the city’s busiest commercial centers. To handle the high volume of vehicles entering and exiting daily, the mall required a smart and automated parking management system that could efficiently manage both temporary and seasonal vehicles while streamlining payment processes.

To achieve this, we provided an integrated solution combining Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR), RFID cards technology, and Self-Service Payment Kiosks. The system now ensures fast, secure, and convenient vehicle management with reduced manpower and improved operational efficiency.

Project Scale:

3 entry lanes and 3 exit lanes equipped with ALPR + RFID Cards + Payment Kiosk system

Project Requirements

The customer required a parking solution that could:

  1. Automatically identify and manage vehiclesthrough license plate and RFID recognition.
  2. Handle both temporary and seasonal vehicleswith appropriate access and payment methods.
  3. Enable self-service paymentsvia kiosks using either license plate numbers or RFID cards.
  4. Reduce manual workand improve efficiency at entrances and exits.
  5. Provide accurate, real-time datafor management and reporting.

Solutions We Provide for Customers

To fulfill these requirements, our engineering team designed a comprehensive smart parking management system that integrates hardware automation and intelligent software control:

  • ALPR System for Vehicle Identification:
    Each entry and exit is equipped with high-precision ALPR cameras that automatically recognize and record vehicle plate numbers, ensuring fast and accurate identification for all vehicles.
  • RFID Card Management for Season Vehicles:
    Regular customers or season pass holders are provided with RFID cards for quick, contactless access, minimizing waiting time and congestion.
  • Self-Service Payment Kiosks:
    The mall customerscan process parking payments easily through the kiosks by entering their license plate number or scanning their RFID card, reducing the need for manual payment counters.
  • Centralized Management Software:
    The system synchronizes vehicle records, payment data, and access control in real time, allowing mall administrators to monitor and manage parking operations efficiently.
  • Automated Entry & Exit Control:
    The integration of ALPR and RFID ensures smooth traffic flow and automatic barrier operation, creating a modern, user-friendly parking experience.
