Project Description

This project involves the deployment of a License Plate Recognition (LPR) System for a car wash management solution. The customer needed an automated way to record every car entering and exiting the car wash room across multiple sites.

The system identifies vehicles based on their license plate numbers and automatically sends the plate data and corresponding entry/exit timestamps to the customer’s central management software for tracking and analysis.

Project Scale:

• 7 sitesin total
• 21 car wash entrancesequipped with LPR systems

Each site is equipped with 2 to 3 license plate recognition cameras and one upload software module for centralized data communication.

Project Requirements

The customer required a system that could:

1. Record and manage vehiclesusing license plate numbers as the key identification unit.
2. Automatically uploadentry and exit data (plate number + time) to their existing management software.
3. Support data transmission in multiple formatssuch as image, TXT, or Excel files, depending on their internal processing needs.
4. Provide an open APIfor seamless integration — the customer can define their own upload URL to receive real-time data from our system.

To meet these requirements, our engineering team provided a fully customized license plate recognition solution that combines hardware and software integration:

• Advanced LPR Cameras:
  Installed at each car wash entrance to capture high-accuracy license plate images under all lighting and weather conditions.
• Data Upload Software:
  Automatically converts recognized license plate data into customer-preferred formats (image, TXT, or Excel) and uploads them to the specified URL in real time.
• Open API Interface:
  Our system’s API allows direct communication with the customer’s car wash management software, ensuring smooth data exchange and flexible customization.
• Centralized Monitoring & Reporting:
  The solution enables real-time monitoring of all 7 sites and provides complete entry/exit reports, improving operational efficiency and transparency.
